PIA looking to construct Engineering and TGS Office at Lahore Airport

Pakistan International Airlines (PIACL) has officially announced a tender for the construction of its new Engineering and Terminal Ground Support (TGS) offices at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.

The national carrier is seeking proposals from reputable construction firms registered with the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) for the year 2026. Eligible firms must hold a category of C-4 (Civil) or higher to participate in the bidding process.

Project & Bidding Details

The procurement will follow the PPRA Rule 36(a), utilizing a "Single Stage, Two Envelope" bidding procedure. This method ensures that technical and financial evaluations are conducted thoroughly to maintain transparency.

Key financial requirements for interested bidders include:

·       Tender Document Fee: 10,000 PKR (Non-refundable)

·       Bid Security: 0.5 Million PKR (Refundable)

Submission Guidelines

In compliance with modern procurement standards, the bidding process will be handled electronically. Bidders are required to register on the E-PADS (PPRA) system to download tender documents and submit their information.

While the primary submission is electronic, the original Pay Order for the tender fee and bid security must be submitted in a hard-copy format to the General Manager, Facilities Management Department, at the PIA Head Office in Karachi.
