Karachi Airport to facilitate passengers by reopening pick-up lane
The Pakistan
Airports Authority (PAA) has decided to reopen the passenger pick-up lane
at Karachi’s Jinnah International
Airport after it remained closed for several years.
Airport sources said authorities have begun
removing barriers from the lane on the directives of the PAA Director General.
The pick-up lane had been inaccessible to passengers for an extended period.

Sources added that the lane was originally
closed on the orders of a former PAA Director General, a decision that created
ongoing difficulties for travelers. With limited space for pickups, vehicles
were often forced to wait in long queues inside the airport premises.
Officials
confirmed that the passenger pick-up lane will be reopened for public use. The
move is expected to improve traffic flow and reduce delays for arriving
passengers.
