PIA set to resume direct flights to Oman from October 2025
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has announced the
resumption of direct flights to Muscat, Oman, from Lahore and Islamabad later
this month, expanding its international network after years of limited
operations.
The Lahore–Muscat route will restart on October 28, followed
by the Islamabad–Muscat service on October 30. Both routes will be operated
using Airbus A320 aircraft, with one weekly flight scheduled from each city.
The move aims to enhance connectivity for Pakistani
expatriates and business travelers between Pakistan and Oman.

This announcement comes shortly after PIA confirmed the
revival of its Islamabad–Manchester route, set to resume on October 25. Flights
to London are expected to follow in the second phase of the airline’s
international expansion plan.
A PIA spokesperson said the airline is committed to
rebuilding its global footprint:
“After a five-year gap, we’re excited to restore key routes
and help our compatriots travel more efficiently. Travel times will be nearly
cut in half.”
The resumption of these routes signals the beginning of
PIA’s phased return to major international destinations.
