Meeting assures Gilgit Airport victims to resolve their issues 

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan, and SAFRON Engineer Amir Muqam on Thursday chaired the third meeting of the committee tasked with resolving the issues faced by the victims of Gilgit Airport.

The session brought together senior officials from the Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Law, Pakistan Airports Authority, and the Government of Gilgit-Baltistan. Also in attendance were Secretary Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON Zafar Hassan, and Additional Secretary Kamran-ur-Rehman.

During the meeting, the committee reviewed progress on addressing the concerns of those affected by the airport-related matters and discussed measures to ensure their grievances are resolved efficiently.

Federal Minister Amir Muqam reaffirmed the government’s commitment to a transparent and timely resolution process, emphasizing that all efforts would be made to provide relief to the victims and ensure justice in accordance with the law.
