PIA People’s Unity appreciates role of aviation journalists association
People’s Unity of PIA organized a luncheon at the Royal
Swiss Hotel, Lahore, to honour the office-bearers of the newly established
Pakistan Aviation Journalists Association (PAJA).
Extending warm felicitations to the association, the
leadership of People’s Unity praised the positive role of aviation journalists
and conveyed best wishes for their future endeavors.
The gathering was attended by People’s Unity Lahore
office-bearers including Secretary General Kashif Rana, Senior Vice President
Rai Ali Usman, Organising Secretary Riaz Ahmed, Welfare Secretary Nawaz Awan,
and other members of the union.

Malik appointed patron-in-chief of Pakistan Aviation Journalists Association
Representing PAJA, Life Patron-in-Chief Adnan Malik,
President Talib Fareedi, Secretary General Wasif Mehmood, Senior Vice President
Amraiz Khan, Joint Secretary Hassan Hafeez, Finance Secretary Umair Rana, and
senior aviation journalists Rana Muhammad Ali, Naseer Wahga, Shahid Chaudhry,
Afzal Iftikhar, Mian Naveed, and Jafar bin Yaar were present. Former Civil
Aviation Authority (CAA) spokesperson Kamran Malik also attended as a special
guest.
Addressing the participants, People’s Unity Secretary
General Kashif Rana lauded the constructive role of aviation journalists in
highlighting issues and supporting the progress of PIA. He reaffirmed that
People’s Unity would remain a strong bulwark against the proposed privatisation
of the national airline.
