PIA and Air Karachi sign agreement for MRO services
Air Karachi has entered into a maintenance
agreement with Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) to obtain Maintenance, Repair,
and Overhaul (MRO) services from the national carrier.
The agreement was signed by PIA CEO Air Vice
Marshal Amir Hayat, Air Karachi Chairman Hanif Gohar, and CEO AVM (Retd.) Imran
Majid. Senior executives from both organizations attended the signing ceremony.

Under the terms of the deal, PIA’s Engineering
Division will provide comprehensive MRO services to Air Karachi. A PIA
spokesperson stated that the airline's engineering capabilities are
well-established and already serve multiple clients. The partnership is
expected to generate additional revenue for PIA by expanding its MRO service
offerings to third-party carriers.
