Flyadeal, a new Saudi Arabian airline, has officially kicked off its services to Pakistan with its inaugural flight arriving at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Saturday morning.

The airline's first flight, F3-661, landed at 8:00 AM and was welcomed with a traditional water salute, according to the Pakistan Airports Authority (PAA). The PAA also confirmed that Flyadeal will operate two weekly flights to Karachi from both Riyadh and Jeddah, with the inaugural flight originating from Riyadh.

Shahid Qadir, a spokesperson for Aviation Security, emphasized that the arrival of Flyadeal will offer passengers more direct travel options. He also pointed out that the airline’s entry into the Pakistani market would generate new employment opportunities.

Initially, Flyadeal will operate four weekly flights—two from Lahore and two from Karachi—using Airbus A320 aircraft. This makes Flyadeal the third Saudi airline to begin operations in Pakistan, joining Saudi Arabian Airlines and Flynas, which already have flights on a weekly basis.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has granted Flyadeal the necessary approval to operate between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

Farhan Memon, a representative of a private ticketing agency, noted that Pakistani travelers are among the largest groups of pilgrims heading to Saudi Arabia for Umrah. He believes Flyadeal is tapping into this demand, and the timing of the launch during the Umrah season will provide Pakistanis with more travel options.
