Shahid Qadir, a spokesperson for Aviation Security, emphasized that the
arrival of Flyadeal will offer passengers more direct travel options. He also
pointed out that the airline’s entry into the Pakistani market would generate
new employment opportunities.
Initially, Flyadeal will operate four weekly flights—two from Lahore and two
from Karachi—using Airbus A320 aircraft. This makes Flyadeal the third Saudi
airline to begin operations in Pakistan, joining Saudi Arabian Airlines and
Flynas, which already have flights on a weekly basis.
The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has granted Flyadeal the necessary

Farhan Memon, a representative of a private ticketing agency, noted that
Pakistani travelers are among the largest groups of pilgrims heading to Saudi
Arabia for Umrah. He believes Flyadeal is tapping into this demand, and the
timing of the launch during the Umrah season will provide Pakistanis with more
