Pakistan’s AirSial to expand fleet to ten aircraft
AirSial, Pakistan’s private airline, has finalized an agreement with a foreign aviation company to lease its 10th aircraft.
The signing ceremony for the memorandum
of understanding (MoU) was attended by AirSial Chairman Fazal Jillani, CEO Amin
Ahsan, and Chief Operating Officer Tariq Amin. The addition of this aircraft
will expand AirSial’s fleet to 10 planes.

In August 2024, the airline
announced plans to add two new aircraft to its fleet by early 2025.
Founded by Sialkot’s business community,
AirSial launched operations on December 9, 2020. The airline was granted
permission to operate international flights to seven destinations, including
China, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and Kuwait.
AirSial commenced its international
flight services on December 31, 2021, with a chartered flight carrying 162
passengers from Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport to Dubai. A
cake-cutting ceremony was held at the airport to mark the occasion.

flight operations on December 25, 2020, using Airbus A320-200 aircraft to connect
Karachi and Islamabad. Initially, the airline started with a fleet of three
Airbus A320-200 planes.
