PAF Chief highlights strategic importance of Pakistan Air Force in national defense
Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu,
underscored the importance of maintaining constant preparedness to tackle
global challenges while addressing the passing-out parade of naval cadets in
Karachi.
In his speech, Air Chief Marshal Sidhu highlighted the strategic
significance of the Pakistan Air Force, asserting, “The Pakistan Air Force is
fortifying the regional balance of power.” He commended the Pakistan Naval
Academy, describing it as one of the world’s finest institutions, and extended
his congratulations to the graduating cadets on their remarkable achievement.

Chief emphasizes need for venture capitalism to develop defense aviation
Acknowledging the critical role of the Pakistan Navy in the nation’s
defense, the air chief emphasized the interconnection between national security
and a robust economy. “A strong defense is built upon a healthy economy,” he
stated, noting that Pakistan’s economic progress is advancing steadily.
Additionally, he urged the international community to take a more active
role in resolving the ongoing Kashmir dispute.
Earlier in the ceremony, 79 officers were commissioned into the Pakistan
Navy, pledging their dedication to serve the nation.
