Association seeks to improve PIA’s food quality and service
The Pakistan Airlines Cabin Crew Association (PACCA) has raised serious concerns regarding the declining quality of meals provided to passengers aboard Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), urging immediate corrective actions.
In a recent statement, PACCA President Nasrullah Khan Afridi criticized the
deteriorating standards of the national carrier and accused management of
damaging PIA’s reputation.
Afridi specifically pointed to a recent incident on flight PK-304 from
Lahore to Karachi, where a passenger discovered what appeared to be blood on a
piece of chicken served during the meal. The passenger’s video documenting the
issue has since gone viral.

To make matters worse, the flight was already delayed by six hours,
exacerbating passenger frustrations. Afridi called for a thorough and
transparent investigation into the incident, stressing the need for
accountability. He urged officials to review the decisions made over the past
four and a half years that have contributed to the airline’s decline.
PACCA is calling for an impartial inquiry to restore passenger confidence
and improve the quality of PIA’s in-flight services.
