PIA to act as official airline for IDEAS 2024 exhibition
Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has been designated as the official
airline for the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (IDEAS) 2024, a
prestigious event that showcases Pakistan’s defense capabilities and
facilitates international arms trade.
As part of this partnership, PIA will brand two Boeing 777s and two Airbus
aircraft with the IDEAS 2024 logo, enhancing the exhibition’s visibility both
locally and internationally.

The event is scheduled to take place from November 19 to 22 at the Karachi
Expo Centre, attracting numerous global delegates and providing a platform for
Pakistan’s indigenous defense manufacturing industry to connect with
international suppliers. Launched in 2000, IDEAS has grown into a significant
event for the country, reflecting the government’s commitment to strengthening
its defense sector.
The inaugural IDEAS exhibition featured participation from 45 countries, and
its significance has only increased, reinforcing Pakistan’s role in the global
defense market.
PIA’s involvement as the official carrier underscores the national airline’s
support for this important event, further enhancing Pakistan’s presence on the
global defense stage.
