Shafi expressed confidence in the potential increase in commercial flights
to Pakistan, noting that the country's air safety measures are among the best
in the region, even surpassing those of India.
In a related development, the CAA has introduced new guidelines concerning
Passenger Name Records (PNR). Passengers will no longer be denied boarding due
to discrepancies between their PNR at the time of booking and travel.
This change comes in response to numerous complaints from passengers who had
previously faced boarding issues under such circumstances.
