Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) achieves score of over 86% in ICAO assessment

Pakistan's Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has announced its successful completion of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) assessment for 2023.

According to the CAA, the report released by the Universal Audit Programme – Continuous Monitoring Approach (USAP-CMA) Audit Team revealed that the CAA achieved an impressive score of 86.73 percent, surpassing the ICAO's set goal of 80 percent for 2023.

This accomplishment brings Pakistan closer to the ICAO's 2030 target of 90 percent.

The CAA attributed this success to the implementation of the National Aviation Security Act 2023 and the concerted efforts of various stakeholders including airports, airlines, cargo agents, ground handlers, and the Airport Security Force.

This achievement underscores Pakistan's commitment to enhancing aviation safety and security standards in line with international benchmarks.
