Civil Aviation Authority issues new schedule for Gwadar Airport operations

Under a new schedule introduced by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), Gwadar Airport is set to operate three days a week, aiming to optimize air travel operations.

The updated schedule, in effect from December 1 to February 28, 2024, is designed to improve the efficiency and accessibility of flight services.

New Gwadar International Airport opening postponed by an additional six months

The operational days under the revised schedule will be every Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, providing travelers with enhanced flexibility and convenience in planning their journeys.

To ensure smoother airport management and operations, the CAA has instituted a mandatory 24-hour notice requirement for non-scheduled flights. Airlines deviating from the regular schedule are now obligated to inform the Gwadar Airport administration in advance, promoting better coordination and operational efficiency.

This adjustment in the flight operation schedule signifies a strategic move by Gwadar Airport to enhance the overall travel experience. Passengers can look forward to increased accessibility, and the new procedures for non-scheduled flights demonstrate a commitment to improved coordination and operational excellence. As Gwadar Airport continues to play a pivotal role in facilitating seamless air travel in the region, these changes mark a positive step into the future.
