Increasing demand pushes PIA to add third weekly flight to Manchester
Responding to overwhelming passenger
demand, Pakistan International Airlines
(PIA) has announced an increase in the frequency of its direct flights between
Islamabad and Manchester.
The national carrier will add a third weekly flight beginning December 11,
following an “incredible rush” in bookings after the airline’s recent
resumption of UK operations.
PIA has been operating two weekly
flights on this route since October 25, but with all seats now sold out three
months in advance, the airline is ramping up capacity to accommodate the
growing number of travelers.
