The extended restriction took effect at 3:20 PM local time on July 18 and will remain in place until 4:59 AM local time on August 24.

The airspace ban was first imposed on April 24, 2025, and its continuation signals persistent tensions and regulatory friction between the two neighboring countries in the aviation sector.
