Pakistan: Ahsan Ali Mangi appointed
Secretary of Aviation Division
In a recent bureaucratic reshuffle,
Ahsan Ali Mangi has been appointed as the Secretary of the Aviation Division.
According to a notification from the Establishment Division, Mangi, a BS-21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative
Service and formerly Additional Secretary at the Commerce Division, has been
transferred to this new role under Section 10 of the Civil Servants Act, 1973,
effective immediately.
Mangi brings a wealth of experience
to the position, having previously served as Deputy Secretary General of the
Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
His extensive background includes
roles such as Joint Secretary at the Prime Minister’s Office, Member of
Environment at the Capital Development Authority, and Director General of
Operations at the Benazir Income Support Program.
