Ministers call for improvements at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore
Federal ministers Kh Muhammad Asif and Abdul Aleem Khan, as part of the
Federal Cabinet Committee, visited Allama Iqbal International Airport (AIIA) in
Lahore to inspect the facilities available for passengers.
Federal Minister for Civil Aviation, Kh. Muhammad Asif, emphasized the
importance of treating passengers at both domestic and international counters
with patience and courtesy. He stressed the need for quick and efficient
passenger clearance to minimize inconvenience.

Airport set to undergo improvements
Federal Minister for Privatization, Board of Investment & Communication,
Abdul Aleem Khan, highlighted that an airport serves as the first impression of
a country. Therefore, he insisted on maintaining cleanliness, hygiene, and all
international standards.
The ministers also called for special assistance and facilities for women
and elderly passengers, ensuring quick luggage clearance while adhering to all
SOPs.

High-ranking officers from the Airport Security Force (ASF) and Civil
Aviation Authority (CAA) briefed the ministers on their current arrangements
and assured them that all instructions would be implemented.
