The SIFC has instructed Civil Aviation Authority officials to
expedite the construction process and ensure prompt commencement of flight
operations at the airport. Emphasizing its strategic significance for the
country's economy, SIFC highlights the potential for accelerated foreign
investment and enhanced activities at Gwadar Port upon its operationalization.
Director General of the Gwadar Development Authority, Mujeeb Ur
Rehman Qambrani, had previously announced plans for the largest Gwadar
International Airport to be operational by September 2023, facilitating
connectivity with major cities domestically and globally. Qambrani also
outlined infrastructural developments including integration with the national
