Quetta Int’l airport’s runway gets upgradation
Quetta International Airport in Baluchistan province of Pakistan has become functional again after upgradation of its main runway.
The first Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight landed at the airport on Wednesday after the repair work.
The runway has the capacity to accommodate wide-body aircraft such as Boeing 777 and other passenger planes.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of Pakistan, taxiway and apron area have also been expanded besides installation of modern equipment for flight management at the airport.
