Safety audit of Karachi airport to be launched next
week
Pakistan Civil
Aviation Authority will launch safety audit of Jinnah International Airport
Karachi next week.
The Safety and Quality
Management System Directorate of PCAA recently completed the audit of Allama
Iqbal International Airport Lahore.
International aviation
standards will be checked during the inspection of Karachi airport’s runway,
terminal building, airside and other sections.
The Directorate has
already completed audit of the Islamabad, Lahore, Quetta and Peshawar airports.
Internal audit of the
airports across Pakistan is mandatory under International Civil Aviation
Organization rules.
